Villa La
Grotta, named after the mountain stream "Grotta",
is located among the slopes of the Pratomagno
Mountain only 15 Km from Arezzo, 40 Km Florence
and 45 Km from Siena. The Villa, which has 750
sq. meters of living area, is part of a splendid
borgo, or village, built in the late 1700's.
It has been transformed and restored in an elegant
manner that reflects Tuscan tradition and offers
modern comfort. The Villa, including an adjacent
restored farmhouse, contains apartments and
rooms that are warm, inviting and bear the names
of famous Tuscan artists. Guests may enter the
villa to unload luggage through a gate and parking
is located at the private parking place next
to the villa (the gate to the parking place
is opened / closed with a remote control). Browse

Villa La Grotta offers an amazing panoramic
view, a beautiful swimming pool, ample parking
space and most importantly a place to relax
and enjoy your holiday. Lounge in the refreshing
pool or read a book in the green garden will
the birds sing tunes. The location of the villa
makes it the perfect start for a long walk or
hike through the Chianti region. Guests may
also find in the area: horse riding, tennis,
mountain biking, and trekking trails. Near the
Villa sit many medieval villages, churches,
monasteries and above all, the medieval town
of "Borro" where nobles once lived.
Also mentionable, the Villa is located in the
famous Chianti wine region where local wineries
offer wine tasting and delicious specialties
from the Tuscan cuisine.
The village of San Giustino Valdarno is just
a 5 minute walk where you will find restaurants,
pizzerias, a post office, bank machines, a supermarket,
an ice cream parlour/bar, and a car-repair shop.
