AGRITOURISM LA PROVVIDENZA

The Agritourism "La Provvidenza" lies in the municipal district of Capaccio, in small place near Sabatella. It’s an old Agricultural village, lying just overs kilometres from the temples of Paestum and the city centre. From the farm you can reach some charming places in a short time (Paestum, Pompei), which are rich in art works and natural beauty, and have noteworthy archaeological heritage. You can see the suggestive ruins and taste the famous “Buffalo’s mozzarella” (kind of Italian cheese made from buffalo’s milk); You can go on a pilgrimage to religious places; for people who are keen on sea, there are beaches only 4 km far from the farm. The wonderful beaches in Capaccio-Paestum are visited by a large number of Italian and foreign tourists attracted by the crystal-clear sea.

The Agritourism "La Provvidenza", Our family business welcomes guests in buildings built recently, with a mild climate and a jovial atmosphere. On the outside there is a spacious garden with a funfair park for children. The farm holidays “ La Provvidenza” has 8 rooms with bathrooms, in total 24 bads; Independent heating, change of linen, tv drawing room, exclusive for guests. The rooms are all furnished with old furniture.

The Agritourism "La Provvidenza", has a restaurant where tasty recipes are served every day: cheese, various kinds of cold meats and salami, and pasta are home made products; vegetables and fruit come directly from the farming’s of the farm; chickens, rabbits and calf beef are bred with natural aliments. Among the savoury dishes the most famous is the wonderful “Provvidenza pizza”, based on: tomato, buffalo’s mozzarella and vegetables. There are also many others typical dishes and vintage wines.

Capaccio-Paestum is a province of Salerno. It’s situated along the state road 18 near Ponte Barizzo, via Sabatella 20 opposite the flyover to Gromola.

By car
For people who come from the north you have to cover A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria as far as Battipaglia exit. You have to go on to Paestum about 16 km along S.S 18.
For people who come from the south you have to cover A3 Reggio Calabria-Salerno as far as Eboli exit and you go on to Paestum for about 10 km.

By plane
Naples airport Capodichino is about 90 km far from Capaccio-Paestum. The airport is linked in with Naples, by the service bus. For further information: http://www.gesac.it/
