The hotel
"Relais Il Castello" is an historical
residence of the 1500, a magnificent jewel in
the heart of Montecastello di Vibio, a fairy-like
village a few miles north of Todi, in the green
Umbria!
Surrounded by the old
medieval walls, it’s the perfect frame
for meetings, ceremonies, banquets of any kind.
Large medieval halls
host the the hotel's restaurant. Made entirely
of stone and with uncovered beams, vaults and
suffused with light, is the ideal place for
a pleasant evening with friends, to enjoy typical
dishes from the most genuine Umbrian culinary
tradition.
Elegant, warm and familiar,
the spacious CEREMONY ROOM can contain up to
250 people for receptions and banquets of any
kind… to seal deep in the heart the most
important days of your life… The room faces
an idyllic, breathtaking view: smooth hills
of olive trees and vineyards, coloured cultivated
fields, the hystorical golden Tiber river silently
and softly flowing down…
Private painstaking places for pleasant dinners
for two persons with a wonderful atmosphere
are not missing.
The twenty rooms have
all the comforts: TV, telephone, interphone,
wake-up service, individually controlled air
conditioning, mini bar, hairdryer. Furnished
in a very good taste, some of them overllok
a beautiful landscape, others the village. A
wonderful swimming pool with garden is available
in another part of the castle. The castle is
an ideal place for relaxing holidays and smart
meetings but to spend one's weekends immersed
in another age as well. Moreover, near the castle
there is the smallest theatre in the world "La
Concordia", 1808, which has been recently
restored.
