The country house is located on a hill, surrounded by greenery and part of a fascinating medieval fortress facing the Alpe della Luna, a mountain top, in the province of Urbino. As inscribed on the watchtower, here was decided in 1300 the exile of the great poet Dante Alighieri. Castello della Pieve is located in the township of Mercatello sul Metauro, distinguished by the Orange Flag, which is a mark of tourist quality as per the Touring Club. This area borders with Tuscany and Umbria, and is possible to take drives through areas of spectacular scenery and panoramas, and arrive at historical art cities quickly.

His wife, an architect, has taken personal care to adorn all the rooms characteristically, using stone walls, great fireplaces, brick lain floors, and antique stone staircases…The furnishing in this distinctive lodging in the Italian countryside shows a real passion for her antique collections.
