"Il Vecchio Fienile" Country House is situated high on one of the lovely hills surrounding the village of Ponte Felcino. Its position, 285 mt above sea level, dominates this lovely Umbrian valley and on a clear Summer evening the lights of the enchanting town of Assisi can be seen flickering in the distance. Only 8 km from the centre of the Etruscan city of Perugia which is renowned for its historical importance and beauty. Other delightful Umbrian cities such as Orvieto, Todi, Gubbio, Assisi are also close enough to be able to spend a memorable day admiring their beauty and discovering why they are so unique.

Set among olive groves, woods, cultivated fields of sunflowers, wheat or corn, and a plantation of cherry and walnut trees, Il Vecchio Fienile is the perfect place to spend a holiday in total tranquillity surrounded by the beautiful countryside so typical of Umbria. Take long walks along the country paths, go bird watching in the quiet woods or just relax by the pool while admiring the breathtaking view from thismagical position.

The structure offers various types of apartments and the all the furnishings have been hand made by local artisans. Every apartment has electricity, hot and cold water, private bathroom with hair dryer. Fully equipped kitchen with electric hotplates, tv with satellite connection (decoder not included), intercom, private parking area and use of laundry.

Salt water swimming pool 6 x 12 from May 1st to September 30th. A short distance away you can find "Golf Club Antognolla" and "Golf Club Perugia" where you can enjoy a game of golf or spend a day horseriding at one of the nearby stables.

Il Vecchio Fienile is 90 minutes by car from Rome and Florence, 30 minutes from Todi and Spoleto, and only 15 minutes from Perugia and Assisi.
From North:
From A1 Highway Florence-Rome, exit Valdichiana and follow directions to Perugia.
Continue in direction of Cesena, exit at Ponte Felcino; or take the E45 Ravenna - Rome, exit at Ponte Felcino.
Exit at Ponte Felcino and follow signs to Il Vecchio Fienile.
From South:
From A1 Highway Florence-Rome, exit Orte, E45 in direction of Cesena.
Exit at Ponte Felcino and continue towards village centre. Then follow signs to "Il Vecchio Fienile" Country House.
