"Casolare Val di Mare" farm holidays country house, nearby the Wine Road of the Etruscan Coast, is looking forward to having you as guests in its two-room and three-room apartments, furnished with a country Tuscany style where you can relax yourself in the swimming-pool that offers a wonderful view of the Tuscany hills of Val di Cecina area, close to the villages of Riparbella, Montescudaio and Guardistallo. City of arts such as Bolgheri, Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa, Siena and Florence are just a few kilometres far from the farm holidays. You could also spend a few hours at the beach and the seaside in the Etruscan Coast.

Two-rooms apartment: independent apartment made up of a living-room with kitchen and double sofa bed, 1 double room, a bathroom with shower, electricity, water, gas with independent meters.
Three-rooms apartment: independent apartment made up of a living-room with kitchen and a double sofa bed, 1 double room, 1 bedroom with two single beds (that can be jointed and get another twin bed), a bathroom with shower, electricity, water, gas with independent meters.

Our activities While staying at Casolare Val di Mare farm holidays you may take part to cultural and sporting activities. Drawing and painting courses will be taken in cooperation with Sara's "La Piccola Bottega del Pittore"; sculpture and ceramics courses will be held by Ferdinando. These artists have attended their classes at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. In cooperation with "La California" Horse-Racing Association, we offer you stables, a horse-racing school and trekking in the wonderful typical hills of our countryside. During week-ends, we offer you one-day tours in the ancient surrounding villages such as "Bolgheri", very famous for its endless and enchanting cypress boulevard, so loved by the poet Giosué Carducci. Excursions lovers can walk starting directly from Casolare Val di Mare and going through the wood in direction of Riparbella. The farmhouse has endowed with a barbecue area and a wood oven. Relaxation lovers can walk through a beautiful wood; sport lovers can use our mountain-bikes. Gastronomy lovers can taste the best wines and visit the cellars. Moreover, in collaboration with Chicco d’Uva wine shop in Cecina, who want may choose a demi-pension stay with a special menu for the clients of Casolare in the Osteria del Viandante. The swimming-pool is at custom disposal and is endowed with a children area, that will be with hydro-massage from the beginning of the season. Val di Cecina The area of Val di Cecina covers the sothern part of the province of Pisa as far as the Tuscany sea of the Etruscan Coast in the province of Livorno. Nowadays you can still see the landscape scattered with fortifications in the highest ranges, and also villages, parish churches and cottages. The archaeological materials, on the contrary, can be found in cities of art such as Volterra. In the country behind Cecina there are three peculiar Medieval villages: Casale Mrittimo, Guardistallo and Montesudaio, surrounded by the Wine Road of the Etruscan Coast with its doc rare wines. A few kilometres away we can find the village of Bolgheri with its vineyards (Sassicaia and Ornellaia) and Castagneto Carducci. This enormous heritage is immersed in a quite assorted landscape that extends from the typical countryside with rows of cypresses, olive groves and vineyards to the tender clayey hills with the sundry colours of the seasons. And finally the peculiar landscape of the geothermic area, characterised by a close net of steam products and the steams of endogenous natural effects, the mountain environments in the highest ranges and the sources of the river Cecina. In this environment - the areas of Berignone and Monterufoli - there is a close net of paths that will lead you to discover its pure suggesting areas. Come raggiungerci BY CAR SS1 "Cecina South or Cecina North" exit Cecina North exit: after leading out from the Strada Statale 1 -SS1- (Variante Aurelia), follow the directions towards Volterra. After about 5.5 Km you will find Casolare Val di Mare on your left, on a hill. Cecina South exit: after leading out form the Strada Statale 1 -SS1- (Variante Aurelia), follow the directions towards Volterra, cross the bridge of the river Cecina and, after the level crossing turn left towards Livorno-Cecina. After about 1.5 Km you will find Casolare Val di Mare on your right, on a hill.
