Ratschings is the most exten-sive skiing area of the three resorts of the Wipptal Valley. This skiing resort is especially suitable for families and offers slopes of various degree of difficulty: 25 km of well-prepa-red slopes (suitable also for carvers), modern lift facilities, cosy mountain refuges, res-taurants and après-skis. Ratschings is also the perfect location for those who are not skiers or carvers: long walks through the winterly landscape, toboggan tracks, sunny terra-ces and the vicinity of the town Sterzing (shopping) are the ideal prerequisites for your be-autiful holiday in South Tyrol.
