In Umbria
near Lake Trasimeno at Panicale, stands an ancient
stone farmhouse, surrounded by unspoilt mediterranean
wooded hills, olive groves and vineyards. Here
you can spend your holidays enjoying a relaxed
and “ecological” atmosphere.
You can laze all day at the swimming-pool, go
for country walks, make excursions on horse
back, sample the generous cuisine, and visit
the wonderful artistic cities of Umbria and
Toscana: Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, Gubbio, Todi,
Siena, Arezzo, Firenze, even to Rome.

We can offer you a relaxing retreat from city
life at our farmhouse in Umbria. Should you
also like to explore the surrounding region,
thanks to our central position, you can easily
visit the most important artistic cities of
Central Italy. Within a range of about one hundred
kilometres, great part of Italy’s artistic
heritage is at hand.
A country lane of about 4 kilometres (with no
asphalt but in good condition) leads to our
traditional stone farmhouse, which is part of
an olive and vineyard farm. Around you can see
the hills which surround Lake Trasimeno and
can also enjoy the view of a wonderful valley
as far as Monte Amiata.

The farmhouse is simple but very comfortable.
On the ground floor there is our restaurant,
serving natural food prepared following the
rhythms of the seasons.
The olive oil comes from our own olive trees
and we prepare our own marmalades. The quality
of the food is our constant care. The vegetables
are mostly produced in our extensive biological
kitchen garden. We keep sheep, pigs and chickens.
The comfortable guest rooms, each one with its
own private bathroom and central heating, is
furnished in an attractive farmhouse style.
The wooden mangers in the dining-room downstairs
are a reminder that here once was the cattle
stall.
If you prefer to spend part of your day in our
farm, we offer several opportunities for activities:
the swimming-pool, horse riding, archery, bocce
(a traditional and very popular Italian game
similar to bowls) and ping-pong.
