AGRITURISMO CA' DEL CONTE

There are places that can be discovered through a tale, others that, because of what they naturally are, need to be seen to be experienced and felt.

When the sun languish toward west, creeping behind the hills of the Tuscan Appennins, caressing the vineyard and the beech forests, the sunset paints our lands with a rose red colour. It is a magic place: anachronistics antique spaces make you feel to be living in the 19th century.

Horse riding lessons


Ca' del Conte's expert riding instructor and his highly-professional staff offer its guests a range of horse riding courses for all skill levels.

In fact, the estate has an Olympic riding arena (20 x 60 meters), equipped for international class equestrian competitions and a covered arena, constructed to the ancient standards of "mittel europee" stables.

Both facilities are excellent workout areas for the stallions and trained in haute école.

There is a classroom next to the stables with a saddle shop equipped for theoretical lessons.

Flight School


The "Ali Ca' del Conte" Club organizes courses on the Avio-Agriturismo Ca' del Conte flying field to qualify for an ultralight license issued by Aero Club d'Italia.

To begin practical lessons, which is to say, flying in a dual-control plane with instructor, which leads to taking-off solo, you will need a medical examination to certify suitability for flying (there are no particular physical requirements other than good health).

The school also admits those who do not intend to fly but simply to attend theoretical lessons on aeronautics.

Attendance methods for an ULTRALIGHT PILOT'S LICENSE are the following:

1. Membership in the "Ali Ca' del Conte" Club, through deposit of membership dues.
The dues provide for access to the Avio-Agriturismo, Club House, bar, restaurant, pool, heated pool with hydromassage, etc., at preferential rates.

Accompanied flight and several solo take-offs and landings.
Theoretical lessons in the Club classroom, including the concepts of:
Aerodynamics;
Flight techniques;
Flying air space regulations;
Aeronautical culture in general.
Theoretical classes are held in the evening in the classroom of the Cortina di Alseno Club.

Enogastronomic courses

An invitation to get to know the area's local wines and Gutturnio, in particular.
Cooking simple, traditional recipes using healthy, organic and biodynamic products with high nutritional value.
Sampling the goat and sheep cheeses produced on the farm.

Restaurant

It is reached by following the path to the lake or crossing the meadow. Eight hundred meters on foot after a short or long flight will help you work up an appetite for the dishes that the cook's passion has prepared for you.

A gastronomic encounter you will not soon forget: the cook uses organic ingredients produced on the Ca' del Conte estate. Traditional Emilia region cuisine with creative "intermezzos" from the cook's imagination.
