di Canicarao Agritourism, nestled in an
oasis of peace and tranquillity in the heart
of the Ragusa countryside. The perfect destination
for rural tourism, Torre di Canicarao boasts
a wonderful atmosphere, in full contact with
nature. Guests will have an opportunity to taste
traditional Ragusan and Sicilian dishes, made
entirely with our own organic produce. Guests
may also enjoy the delightful surrounding countryside,
which offers walking opportunities along the
paths surrounding the Canicarao stronghold.

“Le Barbatelle”
is Torre di Canicarao’s restaurant.
“Barbatelle” are small graft vines
and the restaurant name evokes the activity
that was once carried out in the large room
that today serves as the dining room.
“Le Barbatelle” serves traditional
Ragusan and Sicilian specialties. Each dish
is prepared with care, based on traditional
recipes, with a touch of fantasy. Because dishes
are prepared with carefully selected ingredients,
the restaurant must fix the menu in advance
and stock up on the fresh, genuine products
required. The restaurant seats up to 150 diners.
In the summer months, open-air dining is possible
in the large courtyard that seats up to 250
people.

Torre di Canicarao
features 13 bedrooms and can sleep up to 32
guests, able to satisfy the needs of individual
clients and groups.
The rooms, decorated simply yet with care for
detail, all boast heating and bathrooms.
A wide range of amenities are available to guests.
The large communal areas such as the conference
room, Saletta della Torre, courtyard with kiosk
bar and garden area, are suitable for parties,
entertainment, rest and relaxation.
Torre di Canicarao also offers guests peaceful
spots in which to enjoy a moment of peace, surrounded
by the garden’s trees, the swimming pool,
the reading room or the chapel.
