LA CASA DI CAMPAGNA

"La casa di campagna is a holiday farm in the Madoni area near the medievil hamlet of Monteleone Sabino, known to the Romans as Trebula Mutuesca and is just 36 miles (56 km) north of Rome. It nestles amid calm olive trees and an archeological park featuring ruins of a Roman amphitheatre and the XIxth century Romanesque church of Santa Vittoria.

The farmhouse is a 17th century stone building surrounded by 25,000 sq m of olive trees and is fitted with every comfort including hydromassage facilities and sprawling gardens with a swimming pool. It's an ideal place for celebrating special events, weddings or holding conferences.

In the warm atmosphere provided by the farm's open fires, the cooks make fresh pasta and use extra-virgin olive oil produced on site.

How to reach us

By car

From Leonardo da Vinci airport in Fiumicion, take the Raccordo ring road to the motorway (A1) for Florence (Firenze). Turn off the A1 motorway at Fiano Romano and follow signs for Rieti (also the same route from central Rome). Alternatively you can take the state highway (SS1) from Rome (slower but quieter) and turn off after 56 km for Monteleone Sabino that one reaches after 3 km.

From Rieti follow the state highway (SS1) and take the turn for Castaprota-Monteleone Sabino after 25 km

By coach

From the LiLa (ex Cotral) company coach station at the Tiburtina railway station in Rome. Departures every hour or half hour.

From Leonardo da Vinci airport, take the train for Fara Sabina leaving every 30 or 60 minutes. Get off at Passo Corese station from where there is a LiLa (ex Cotral) coach connection to Monteleone Sabino.
